Happy B-day Darwin!

Just when you think you've seen it all, you see some more!

In February 12 many years ago two very important people who's influence would change the thinking of millions all over the world were born. These two were Abraham Lincoln and --yes you guessed it!--Charles Darwin.

Now, we know about these two individuals and what incredible things they have accomplished, one would think that there would be a great celebration. Well there is! There is a celebration for the man that in a sense undid the thinking that "all mean are created equal", for the man who saw human as a mere random chance, for the man whose limited science gave him the conclusion that humans came from apes, and the man that gave Adolf Hitler an excuse to do the horrifying things that he did. If you haven't figured it out by now, this man is Charles Darwin.

Can you believe that there's a celebration for this man! I mean, we should pay him his due for making the great now obsolete discoveries, but to take aside a whole day for him is just a stretch. Darwin completely undermines God's greatest creation and passes it for a mere animal. This only shows how far this country has gone. Americans should not celebrate the birth of a non-American that totally went against the Christian values that our founding fathers gave us. I bet our founding fathers would not even recognize this America if they could come back from the dead. This is a complete outrage.

Planned Parenthood, What Many Don't Know

Ok, I understand this might be a sore subject for some people, but it has to be talked about. It is very important.

From the beginning the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger had a purpose and that was to get rid of what was at that time to her the lower species. This Darwinist women devised the perfect plan to accomplish her goal and help the human race move along up the evolutionary ladder. She started putting Planned Parenthood facilities in very specific locations--black and minority communities--wearing the disguise of a facility that gives counseling and helps woman. But in reality they were "wolves in sheep clothing" as they say. In no time Planned Parenthood was providing abortions to mainly black babies, so many that currently there are more blacks being aborted than birthed. This is outrageous.

People don't understand the true cause behind Planned Parenthood facilities and all of the other "clinics" that Planned Parenthood supports. Their main purpose was to get rid of the "lower species" and they are accomplishing their goal. Although abortions are slowly diminishing blacks are among the largest groups that get aborted. Not too long ago Planned Parenthood agreed to take money to abort solely black babies and they agreed happily. This is so wrong in so many ways, and what's worse is that our President supports them. This has to be stopped.

It is necessary for us to be informed and let other people know what organizations like Planned Parenthood are really up to. The killing of babies is an abomination before the eyes of our Loving God. The slaughter must stop.

Text Messaging, Beware!!

Oh my God. The more research I do on teens and the new trends the more I am amazed. I learned how people are constantly deceived in MySpace, how poor little teenage girls get involved with pornography and sex trafficer and they do it all for Money. This is the kind of youth that are growing in this country.

Not too long ago I saw an article titled "Teens and Texting" by Kerby Anderson. This article explains how this new technology is totally changing the way teens socialize. I mean, I'm 21 and I love texting don't get me wrong, but what this article talks about is not merely texting, it is called: "sex-ting". Yep, believe it or not. All that means is that teenage girls and guys send each other pictures of their private parts. They say that after one of these teens receiving one of these messages the changes of getting together increases. Well ofcourse!!

Artists Attire

I guess this is a controversial issue but I'll get straight to the point.

Depending on how conservative or how liberal you are in your life, or how conservative or liberal your church is you might have a different opinion on this issue. The way an artist dresses has always been a concern to many people especially if they have young children who admire them. If a particular artists dresses a bit revealing a young person simply tends to follow the artists and tries to dress revealing as well. This is why I think it is so important that artists dress in an appropriate manner. I mean, these are the people a lot of children look up to, the least they can do is be an exemplary person and dress right.

Let's take "Hanna Montana" for example, she performs these cute songs as Hanna but when she turns in to Miley Cyrus it's a complete different story. The clothes she wares and the way she dances is definitely not appropriate for young people to look at. Parents need to watch out for people like this, lets have our children pick better role models, people that they can actually imitate without demeaning themselves or embarrassing their families.

Finally, the Bible says that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, therefore we must respect it.

Banished Words

Something really funny about being hispanic is that you get to think about this language that you just learned how to speak. It really makes you wonder what makes this language so unique, so special that it is spoken all over the world. With this language you can say a few different things and yet they all mean the same thing. You can have words that are spelled exactly the same, but they could mean completely different things depending on the context. As somebody once said: "words are equivocal, they take on the meaning that the context allows them to take."

Well, following this whole trend of thought on words in the English Language Lake Superior University has been realsing a list of words called "List of Banished Words". They've been doing this since 1976 and the whole purpose is to come up with a list of words that have been used way too many times during a particular year. Words like "Green", "Carbon Footprint", and "Maverick" are only a few of the words that have been over used in the past year. I whole heartedly agree with this! Some words can just get worn out, and Lake Superior University kind of raises a flag on them. They want them out, simply BANISHED!

Obama, Obama, Obama

You know, while I was thinking what to write about and how to use the Bible to describe the situation that this world is in, the Areopagus from the Bible came to mind. When Paul arrived to Athens he was sent to the Areopagus and he noticed that it was full of people that worshiped all kinds of idols so many that he noticed that there was one with an inscription that read: "To the unknown god". These people wanted to cover all kinds of religions. If there was something new, they wanted to hear about it.

This is how this nation has become. Our nation is tired of the same Republicans "ruling" our country and they want something new something fresh, something that has never been seen. Promptly enough, Obama arrives promising "change" and "hope". "At last!!" As the Areopagus would've said something new we can count on. But is it really new? Or is it old wine stored inside new wine skins?

Obama can't bring much profit to this country. His ideas, his policies, his speech, it all just seems to have come out of someone's "Communism 101" book. We must really be careful of this man, he's a shady character and we don't know much about him. If you're a Christian you should be even more careful because his plans and policies and going after you. Laws on FOCA, homosexual marriage, healthcare, these are only but a few issues that can utterly affect the Christian community.

What he really does is yet to be seen so say tunned...
